- But those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint. - So do not fear, for I am with you;

I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. - When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;

the flames will not set you ablaze. - Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you and praise your name,
for in perfect faithfulness
you have done wonderful things,
things planned long ago. - For I am the Lord your God
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
I will help you. - He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak. - Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
Though she may forget,
I will not forget you!
See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are ever before me. - Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. - Since you are precious and honored in my sight,
and because I love you,
I will give people in exchange for you,
nations in exchange for your life. - But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
