Chinese (traditional)- And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.
- Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
- If you love me, keep my commands.
- For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.
- What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
- The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
- Observe what the Lord your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go.
- Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
- The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
- He declared to you his covenant, the Ten Commandments, which he commanded you to follow and then wrote them on two stone tablets.
- Great peace have those who love your law,
and nothing can make them stumble. - Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold.
- If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.
- Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
- We have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws.
- The wise in heart accept commands,
but a chattering fool comes to ruin. - Be sure to keep the commands of the Lord your God and the stipulations and decrees he has given you.
- Now all has been heard;
here is the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God and keep his commandments,
for this is the duty of all mankind. - I rejoice in following your statutes
as one rejoices in great riches. - Praise the Lord.
Blessed are those who fear the Lord,
who find great delight in his commands. - I will never forget your precepts,
for by them you have preserved my life. - But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.
- The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
- You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.
- For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses.Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. For from him and through him and for him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen.Next verse! With image
