- For his anger endureth but a moment;
in his favour is life:
weeping may endure for a night,
but joy cometh in the morning. - Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time,
and in the night his song shall be with me,
and my prayer unto the God of my life. - Because thy lovingkindness is better than life,
my lips shall praise thee.
Thus will I bless thee while I live:
I will lift up my hands in thy name. - And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
- Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.
- And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
- But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
- And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
- Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
- When I said, My foot slippeth;
thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. - For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
- Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
- For the mountains shall depart,
and the hills be removed;
but my kindness shall not depart from thee,
neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed,
saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. - Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
- For thy mercy is great unto the heavens,
and thy truth unto the clouds. - And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
- Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
- If ye love me, keep my commandments.
- A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
- For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
- For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
- As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Bible verse of the day
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.Random Bible Verse
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord,and whose hope the Lord is.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters,
and that spreadeth out her roots by the river,
and shall not see when heat cometh,
but her leaf shall be green;
and shall not be careful in the year of drought,
neither shall cease from yielding fruit.Next verse!With image
