- Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
- Thou art my hiding place;
thou shalt preserve me from trouble;
thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. - God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
- No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper;
and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. - So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
- Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation:
and thy right hand hath holden me up,
and thy gentleness hath made me great.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me,
that my feet did not slip. - Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust. - The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
- The Lord is on my side; I will not fear:
what can man do unto me? - Thou art my hiding place and my shield:
I hope in thy word. - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
- And even to your old age I am he;
and even to hoar hairs will I carry you:
I have made, and I will bear;
even I will carry, and will deliver you. - As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. - He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. - But I will sing of thy power;
yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning:
for thou hast been my defence
and refuge in the day of my trouble. - Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life. - What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
- But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me;
my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. - I have set the Lord always before me:
because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. - Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
- It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. - Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. - The name of the Lord is a strong tower:
the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. - For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God?
The Lord is good,
a strong hold in the day of trouble;
and he knoweth them that trust in him.Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This is also vanity and vexation of spirit. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.Next verse!With image
