- With my whole heart I seek you;

and lead me in the way everlasting. - Therefore you are without excuse, whoever you are, when you judge others, for in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, are doing the very same things.
- For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are open to their prayer.
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - Blessed are those who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
- Righteousness exalts a nation,
but sin is a reproach to any people. - He has told you, O mortal, what is good,
and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice and to love kindness
and to walk humbly with your God? - Better is a little with righteousness
than large income with injustice. - For Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
- Better is a little that the righteous person has
than the abundance of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken,
but the Lord upholds the righteous. - For the Lord is our judge; the Lord is our ruler;
the Lord is our king; he will save us. - But now, apart from the law, the righteousness of God has been disclosed and is attested by the Law and the Prophets, the righteousness of God through the faith of Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction.
- With their mouths the godless would destroy their neighbors,
but by knowledge the righteous are delivered. - Now, discipline always seems painful rather than pleasant at the time, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
- He loves righteousness and justice;
the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord. - Do not be mismatched with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and lawlessness have in common? Or what partnership is there between light and darkness?
