- There is a way that seems right to a person,

- “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are beneficial. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything.
- Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid.
- Hear my prayer, O Lord;
give ear to my supplications in your faithfulness;
answer me in your righteousness. - The Lord is just in all his ways,
and kind in all his doings. - For just as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous.
- Give justice to the weak and the orphan;
maintain the right of the lowly and the destitute. - Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you;
therefore he will rise up to show mercy to you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
blessed are all those who wait for him. - My soul yearns for you in the night,
my spirit within me earnestly seeks you.
For when your judgments are in the earth,
the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness. - But the one who did not know and did what deserved a beating will receive a light beating. From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required; and from the one to whom much has been entrusted, even more will be demanded.
- Everyone who commits sin is guilty of lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.
- But for you who revere my name the sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall.
- We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is justified not by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ. And we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by doing the works of the law, because no one will be justified by the works of the law.
- Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. - Good and upright is the Lord;
therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
He leads the humble in what is right,
and teaches the humble his way. - Happy are those whose way is blameless,
who walk in the law of the Lord.
