- My soul yearns for you in the night,
my spirit within me earnestly seeks you.
For when your judgments are in the earth,
the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness. - Come to a sober and right mind, and sin no more; for some people have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
- Good and upright is the Lord;
therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
He leads the humble in what is right,
and teaches the humble his way. - For “no human being will be justified in his sight” by deeds prescribed by the law, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
- But for you who revere my name the sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall.
- If we diligently observe this entire commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, we will be in the right.
- Then Peter began to speak to them: “I truly understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.”
- The memory of the righteous is a blessing,
but the name of the wicked will rot. - I have taught you the way of wisdom;

My foot has held fast to his steps;
I have kept his way and have not turned aside. - Train children in the right way,
and when old, they will not stray. - In the path of your judgments,
O Lord, we wait for you;
your name and your renown
are the soul's desire. - Those who are wise understand these things;
those who are discerning know them.
For the ways of the Lord are right,
and the upright walk in them,
but transgressors stumble in them. - The Rock, his work is perfect,
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God, without deceit,
just and upright is he. - Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven,
for all his works are truth,
and his ways are justice;
and he is able to bring low
those who walk in pride. - For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, says the Lord God. Turn, then, and live.
- The hope of the righteous ends in gladness,
but the expectation of the wicked comes to nothing. - He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.
- No longer present your members to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and present your members to God as instruments of righteousness.
- For you bless the righteous, O Lord;
you cover them with favor as with a shield. - Look at the proud!
Their spirit is not right in them,
but the righteous live by their faith. - Let your eyes look directly forward,
and your gaze be straight before you. - Guarding the paths of justice
and preserving the way of his faithful ones. - I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. From now on there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
- You who want to be justified by the law have cut yourselves off from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
