- I do not nullify the grace of God; for if justification comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.

and your gaze be straight before you. - He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but according to his mercy, through the water of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
- Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven,
for all his works are truth,
and his ways are justice;
and he is able to bring low
those who walk in pride. - I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. From now on there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
- For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, says the Lord God. Turn, then, and live.
- There is one lawgiver and judge who is able to save and to destroy. So who, then, are you to judge your neighbor?
- Guarding the paths of justice
and preserving the way of his faithful ones. - The hope of the righteous ends in gladness,
but the expectation of the wicked comes to nothing. - If we diligently observe this entire commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, we will be in the right.
