- We love because he first loved us.

- The precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes. - So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
- Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be acceptable in your sight,
O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. - But godliness with contentment is great gain.
- But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
- For I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance.
- Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them.

- And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”
- The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day pours out speech,
and night to night reveals knowledge. - Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”
- Now then, let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Be careful what you do, for there is no injustice with the Lord our God, or partiality or taking bribes.
- God is not man, that he should lie,
or a son of man, that he should change his mind.
Has he said, and will he not do it?
Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? - That is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.
- Give us this day our daily bread.
