Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge. - God is not human, that he should lie,
not a human being, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act?
Does he promise and not fulfill? - Give us today our daily bread.
- That God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
“In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. Go back and tell Hezekiah, the ruler of my people, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you.
