Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Do'
- And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that.
- So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
- Do everything in love.
- Turn from evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it. - Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
- And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
- I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
- So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
- The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? - “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.
- Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in your power to act. - I desire to do your will, my God;
your law is within my heart. - Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. - The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.
- To do what is right and just
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
- You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God.
- Do not wear yourself out to get rich;
do not trust your own cleverness. - And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
- In God, whose word I praise—
in God I trust and am not afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? - For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.
- Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God;
may your good Spirit
lead me on level ground. - So we say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?” - Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.Next verse!With image
