- Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

thy judgments have I laid before me. - Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.

forsake not the works of thine own hands. - For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end.
- It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed,
because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning:
great is thy faithfulness. - Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
- Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.

To such as keep his covenant,
and to those that remember his commandments to do them. - I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
