Chinese (traditional)- I have not departed from the commandment of his lips;
I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my portion of food. - You shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.
- But you, O Lord, reign forever;
your throne endures to all generations. - Remove far from me falsehood and lying;
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with the food that is needful for me. - And he said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”
- Who has performed and done this,
calling the generations from the beginning?
I, the Lord, the first,
and with the last; I am he. - Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever you had formed the earth and the world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God. - Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets cried out, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, Return from your evil ways and from your evil deeds.’ But they did not hear or pay attention to me, declares the Lord.
- Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.
- Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever—” therefore the Lord God sent him out from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken.
- If one turns away his ear from hearing the law,
even his prayer is an abomination. - Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil.
- Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
- Keep your heart with all vigilance,
for from it flow the springs of life. - Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?
- But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life.
- Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high,
and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field,
and the fruitful field is deemed a forest. - The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
- For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.
- Who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.
- This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
- And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.
- But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
- But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- It is an honor for a man to keep aloof from strife,
but every fool will be quarreling.
And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him.” Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.Next verse!With image
