- The entrance of thy words giveth light;
it giveth understanding unto the simple. - He giveth power to the faint;
and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. - But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- For the Lord giveth wisdom:
out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. - If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
- Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
- That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
- A fool uttereth all his mind:
but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards. - He coveteth greedily all the day long:
but the righteous giveth and spareth not. - A man's gift maketh room for him,
and bringeth him before great men. - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
- The Lord will give strength unto his people;
the Lord will bless his people with peace. - The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again:
but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. - God setteth the solitary in families:
he bringeth out those which are bound with chains:
but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. - Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
- He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good:
and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he. - Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus.
- Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.
- Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.
- The liberal soul shall be made fat:
and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. - A wise son maketh a glad father:
but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother. - I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
- The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
- He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
- Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.Who is this King of glory?
