Giving to the needy (2/4) He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished. Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Teach me to do thy will; A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him. Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord . As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. Next verse! With image
