- If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing.

And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold.
For I have stayed on God’s paths;
I have followed his ways and not turned aside. - I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown.
- You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.
- I have rejoiced in your laws
as much as in riches. - For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.
- And since I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet.
- Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.
- You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.
- For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes.
- So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.
- And forgive us our sins,
as we have forgiven those who sin against us. - But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.
