- If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

but those who counsel peace have joy. - I know what it is to have little, and I know what it is to have plenty. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of being well-fed and of going hungry, of having plenty and of being in need.
- In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?
- I treasure your word in my heart,
so that I may not sin against you. - Turn back, and say to Hezekiah prince of my people, Thus says the Lord, the God of your ancestor David: I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; indeed, I will heal you; on the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.
- For in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith. As many of you as were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
- I will satisfy the weary,
and all who are faint I will replenish. - And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
- But now that you have been freed from sin and enslaved to God, the advantage you get is sanctification. The end is eternal life.
- So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith.
