They cried out, because they all saw him and were terrified. Immediately he spoke to them and said, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in bands of cloth, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. All who obey his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit that he has given us.The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
For he has graciously granted you the privilege not only of believing in Christ, but of suffering for him as well. For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him.

Sing to God, sing praises to his name; lift up a song to him who rides upon the clouds — his name is the Lord— be exultant before him. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. We know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be destroyed, and we might no longer be enslaved to sin.For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.
