Chinese (traditional)- But the mercy of the Lord is
from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him,
and his righteousness unto children's children;
To such as keep his covenant,
and to those that remember his commandments to do them. - In my distress I called upon the Lord,
and cried unto my God:
he heard my voice out of his temple,
and my cry came before him, even into his ears. - Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
- I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope. - Sing unto God, sing praises to his name:
extol him that rideth upon the heavens
by his name Jah, and rejoice before him.
A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows,
is God in his holy habitation. - For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
- Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith. - Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
- Can one go upon hot coals,
and his feet not be burned? - He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
- He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law,
even his prayer shall be abomination. - Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name. - The rich man's wealth is his strong city,
and as an high wall in his own conceit. - Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.
- Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
- And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.
- Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord;
that walketh in his ways. - I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
- As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.
- He sent his word, and healed them,
and delivered them from their destructions. - Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
- I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. - There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.Next verse!With image
