Chinese (traditional)- Sing unto God, sing praises to his name:
extol him that rideth upon the heavens
by his name Jah, and rejoice before him.
A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows,
is God in his holy habitation. - But the mercy of the Lord is
from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him,
and his righteousness unto children's children;
To such as keep his covenant,
and to those that remember his commandments to do them. - Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
- I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope. - Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith. - Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
- For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
- Can one go upon hot coals,
and his feet not be burned? - He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
- Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
- He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law,
even his prayer shall be abomination. - Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.
- Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name. - The rich man's wealth is his strong city,
and as an high wall in his own conceit. - Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
- And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.
- Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord;
that walketh in his ways. - As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.
- He sent his word, and healed them,
and delivered them from their destructions. - Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
- I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. - For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
- There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
- The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. - Blessed are they that keep his testimonies,
and that seek him with the whole heart.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.Next verse!With image
