Chinese (traditional)- It is an honour for a man to cease from strife:
but every fool will be meddling. - Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
- Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.
- And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.
- He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
- Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
a good understanding have all they that do his commandments:
his praise endureth for ever. - I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies,
as much as in all riches. - Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
- Depart from evil, and do good;
seek peace, and pursue it. - Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
- For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
- And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
- And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.
- If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.
- Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.
- Hatred stirreth up strifes:
but love covereth all sins. - And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
- Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
- Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths. - As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
- But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
- And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
- In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust;
let me never be ashamed:
deliver me in thy righteousness. - And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding:
but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.Next verse!With image
