- And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
- For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.
- The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth. - If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
- But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.”
- He answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
- The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and faithful in all he does. - And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that.
- Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it. - Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
- I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.
- “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything.
- Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
- Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom. - To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”
- Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
- I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears. - Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
- Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
- I will extol the Lord at all times;
his praise will always be on my lips. - So that I may come to you with joy, by God’s will, and in your company be refreshed.
- I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
- Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed.
- Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
