- Seek ye the Lord while he may be found,
call ye upon him while he is near. - He giveth power to the faint;
and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. - The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:
but the word of our God shall stand for ever. - Arise, shine; for thy light is come,
and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. - For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,
saith the Lord. - Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things:
this is known in all the earth. - Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee. - For the Lord is our judge,
the Lord is our lawgiver,
the Lord is our king;
he will save us. - This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts,
which is wonderful in counsel,
and excellent in working. - Wash you, make you clean;
put away the evil of your doings
from before mine eyes;
cease to do evil. - For I the Lord thy God
will hold thy right hand,
saying unto thee, Fear not;
I will help thee. - Learn to do well; seek judgment,
relieve the oppressed,
judge the fatherless,
plead for the widow. - Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
- Yea, in the way of thy judgments,
O Lord, have we waited for thee;
the desire of our soul is to thy name,
and to the remembrance of thee. - For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts. - I have blotted out, as a thick cloud,
thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins:
return unto me;
for I have redeemed thee. - Surely he hath borne our griefs,
and carried our sorrows:
yet we did esteem him stricken,
smitten of God, and afflicted. - Who hath wrought and done it,
calling the generations from the beginning?
I the Lord, the first,
and with the last; I am he. - I, even I, am he that comforteth you:
who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die,
and of the son of man which shall be made as grass. - Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
- Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high,
and the wilderness be a fruitful field,
and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. - And even to your old age I am he;
and even to hoar hairs will I carry you:
I have made, and I will bear;
even I will carry, and will deliver you. - Since thou wast precious in my sight,
thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee:
therefore will I give men for thee,
and people for thy life. - And in that day shall ye say,
Praise the Lord, call upon his name,
declare his doings among the people,
make mention that his name is exalted. - O Lord, thou art my God;
I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name;
for thou hast done wonderful things;
thy counsels of old
are faithfulness and truth.
But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed.Thou wilt shew me the path of life:
in thy presence is fulness of joy;
at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.Next verse!With image
