- For nothing will be impossible with God.
- Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.
- For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.
- I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.
- But he said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
- No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
- Heal the sick in it and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
- Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased! - But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
- For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
- Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
- Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.
- But Jesus on hearing this answered him, “Do not fear; only believe, and she will be well.”
- Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
- Give to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods do not demand them back.
- And if you do good to those who do good to you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
- For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.
- And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.”
- Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven.
- And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And they cast lots to divide his garments.
- And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”
- And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them.
- And he answered them, “Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.”
- Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.
Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” And having said this he breathed his last.This God—his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord proves true;
