Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors. He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. | And He humbled you and let you go hungry, and fed you with the manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, in order to make you understand that man shall not live on bread alone, but man shall live on everything that comes out of the mouth of the Lord. |

Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation. | Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and a good reputation In the sight of God and man. |
And the Lord God made clothing from animal skins for Adam and his wife. | And the Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and clothed them. |
Everyone enjoys a fitting reply; it is wonderful to say the right thing at the right time! | A person has joy in an apt answer, And how delightful is a timely word! |
So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?” | So that we confidently say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?” |

And how much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Yes, the law permits a person to do good on the Sabbath. | How much more valuable then is a person than a sheep! So then, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath. |
No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. | For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him?
