- According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me.

but the just shall live by his faith. - Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.
- Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
- Before destruction the heart of man is haughty,
and before honour is humility. - Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.
- Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
- Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
- For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
- Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
- Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
- And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
- Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
- Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
- But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
- Surely the Lord God will do nothing,
but he revealeth his secret
unto his servants the prophets. - Riches profit not in the day of wrath:
but righteousness delivereth from death. - Treasures of wickedness profit nothing:
but righteousness delivereth from death. - In all labour there is profit:
but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury. - For thou, O God, hast proved us:
thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. - Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
- And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house.
- Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
- But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
- He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
