Bible Verses about 'Psalm 107'
- For he satisfies the thirsty,
and the hungry he fills with good things. - He sent out his word and healed them,
and delivered them from destruction. - I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples,
and I will sing praises to you among the nations. - Be exalted, O God, above the heavens,
and let your glory be over all the earth. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
all those who practice it have a good understanding.
His praise endures forever. - Praise the Lord!
Happy are those who fear the Lord,
who greatly delight in his commandments. - It is well with those who deal generously and lend,
who conduct their affairs with justice. - For the righteous will never be moved;
they will be remembered forever. - Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory,
for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness. - Our God is in the heavens;
he does whatever he pleases. - I love the Lord, because he has heard
my voice and my supplications.
Because he inclined his ear to me,
therefore I will call on him as long as I live. - Out of my distress I called on the Lord;
the Lord answered me and set me in a broad place. - With the Lord on my side I do not fear.
What can mortals do to me? - It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to put confidence in mortals. - This is the day that the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it. - Save us, we beseech you, O Lord!
O Lord, we beseech you, give us success!
Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord.
We bless you from the house of the Lord. - Happy are those whose way is blameless,
who walk in the law of the Lord. - Happy are those who keep his decrees,
who seek him with their whole heart. - I will praise you with an upright heart,
when I learn your righteous ordinances. - How can young people keep their way pure?
By guarding it according to your word. - With my whole heart I seek you;
do not let me stray from your commandments. - I treasure your word in my heart,
so that I may not sin against you. - I delight in the way of your decrees
as much as in all riches. - I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
I set your ordinances before me. - Turn my heart to your decrees,
and not to selfish gain. - I shall walk at liberty,
for I have sought your precepts. - I hurry and do not delay
to keep your commandments. - I will never forget your precepts,
for by them you have given me life. - Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path. - Your decrees are my heritage forever;
they are the joy of my heart. - You are my hiding place and my shield;
I hope in your word. - The unfolding of your words gives light;
it imparts understanding to the simple. - Keep my steps steady according to your promise,
and never let iniquity have dominion over me. - The sum of your word is truth;
and every one of your righteous ordinances endures forever. - Great peace have those who love your law;
nothing can make them stumble. - Deliver me, O Lord,
from lying lips,
from a deceitful tongue. - I lift up my eyes to the hills—
from where will my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - He will not let your foot be moved;
he who keeps you will not slumber. - The Lord will keep you from all evil;
he will keep your life.
The Lord will keep
your going out and your coming in
from this time on and forevermore. - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - Unless the Lord builds the house,
those who build it labor in vain.
Unless the Lord guards the city,
the guard keeps watch in vain. - Happy is everyone who fears the Lord,
who walks in his ways. - Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord.
Lord, hear my voice!
Let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my supplications! - I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope. - How very good and pleasant it is
when kindred live together in unity! - The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me;
your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.
Do not forsake the work of your hands. - O Lord, you have searched me and known me.
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from far away. - Even before a word is on my tongue,
O Lord, you know it completely. - Where can I go from your spirit?
Or where can I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, you are there;
if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there. - For it was you who formed my inward parts;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
that I know very well.
