  • But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”

    and remember to do his commandments.
  • No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
  • Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.

  • Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things.
  • Sing to God, sing praises to his name;
    lift up a song to him who rides through the deserts;
    his name is the Lord;

    is God in his holy habitation.

  • But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.
