| He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else? | He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? |

Death will be no more; mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away.” | And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” |
| And he said, “It is what comes out of a person that defiles. For it is from within, from the human heart, that evil intentions come: fornication, theft, murder, adultery, avarice, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, envy, slander, pride, folly. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.” | And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man.” |
| He replied, “What is impossible for mortals is possible for God.” | But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” |
| Do all things without murmuring and arguing, so that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, in which you shine like stars in the world. It is by your holding fast to the word of life. | Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life. |
| Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. | The heart is devious above all else; it is perverse— who can understand it? | And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work. | And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. |
| For, while physical training is of some value, godliness is valuable in every way, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. | For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. |
| And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love. | And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. |
| Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive. | And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. |
| Finally, brothers and sisters, farewell. Put things in order, listen to my appeal, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. | Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. |
| Therefore do not let anyone condemn you in matters of food and drink or of observing festivals, new moons, or sabbaths. These are only a shadow of what is to come, but the substance belongs to Christ. | So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. |
