and one whose temper is controlled than one who captures a city. - Then he said to them all, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
- Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
- Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
- All who obey his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit that he has given us.

my God, in whom I trust.” - But those who look into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and persevere, being not hearers who forget but doers who act—they will be blessed in their doing.
- Everyone who commits sin is a child of the devil; for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The Son of God was revealed for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.
