- Like a city that is broken into and without walls

Righteous and just is He. - How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
- For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, being understood by what has been made, so that they are without excuse.
- Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those with leprosy, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.
- So will My word be which goes out of My mouth;
It will not return to Me empty,
Without accomplishing what I desire,
And without succeeding in the purpose for which I sent it. - But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
- Certainly the Lord God does nothing
Unless He reveals His secret plan
To His servants the prophets. - Or can a person walk on hot coals
And his feet not be scorched? - But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, free of hypocrisy.
- The young lions do without and suffer hunger;
But they who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing. - Knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.
- For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.
- So Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.
- Love must be free of hypocrisy. Detest what is evil; cling to what is good.
- Beyond question, great is the mystery of godliness:
He who was revealed in the flesh,
Was vindicated in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Proclaimed among the nations,
Believed on in the world,
Taken up in glory. - Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”
- I hurried and did not delay
To keep Your commandments. - And He said to them, “Are you so lacking in understanding as well? Do you not understand that whatever goes into the person from outside cannot defile him, because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, and is eliminated?” (Thereby He declared all foods clean.)
- He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart, without the possibility that mankind will find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end.
- Jesus responded and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
- It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich,
And He adds no sorrow to it. - All day long he is craving,
While the righteous gives and does not hold back. - Better is a little with righteousness
Than great income with injustice. - For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
- Now accept the one who is weak in faith, but not to have quarrels over opinions.
- Indeed, there is not a righteous person on earth who always does good and does not ever sin.
- For the despairing man there should be kindness from his friend;
So that he does not abandon the fear of the Almighty. - In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was a formless and desolate emptiness, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
- Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you now believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.”

- Therefore you have no excuse, you foolish person, everyone of you who passes judgment; for in that matter in which you judge someone else, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.
- But He knows the way I take;
When He has put me to the test, I will come out as gold.
My foot has held on to His path;
I have kept His way and not turned aside. - For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it?
