Bible Verses about 'Him'
- For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

So shall it be. Amen. - They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and after twisting some thorns into a crown, they placed it on his head and put a reed in his right hand. Then, bending the knee before him, they mocked him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
- I lifted up my voice in prayer to him;
his praise was on my tongue. - Although you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with a joy that is indescribable and glorious. For you are achieving the goal of your faith, that is, the salvation of your souls.
- What is man that you are mindful of him,
the son of man that you care for him? - To him all the Prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him will receive forgiveness of sins through his name.
- This is the message
that we have heard from him
and that we declare to you:
God is light,
and there is no darkness at all in him. - He did not spare his own Son but gave him up for all of us. How then can he fail also to give us everything else along with him?
- The Lord redeems the lives of those who serve him;
no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him. - He made him who did not know sin to be sin for our sake, so that through him we might become the righteousness of God.
- Seek the Lord while he still may be found;
call to him when he is close at hand. - And now, dear children,
abide in him,
so that when he appears
we may have confidence
and not be put to shame by him
at his coming. - In God alone be at rest, O my soul;
it is from him that my hope comes. - In God alone is my soul at rest;
it is from him that my salvation comes. - Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares about you.
- The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart places its trust in him.
He has helped me, and I exult;
then with my song I praise him. - But without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever comes to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
- As Scripture asserts, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.”
- But if you seek the Lord, your God, and you strive with all your heart and your soul, you will find him there.
- A gift opens doors for the giver
and wins him access to the powerful. - The Lord is my portion, I say to myself;
therefore, I will place my hope in him. - Blessed are those who observe his statutes
and seek him with their whole heart. - God is Spirit,
and those who worship him
must worship in Spirit and truth. - While Peter was thus imprisoned, the Church prayed fervently to God for him.
- Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. - Beloved,
we are God’s children now.
What we shall be
has not yet been revealed.
However, we do know that when he appears
we shall be like him,
for we shall see him as he really is.
Everyone who has this hope in him
keeps himself pure,
just as he is pure. - I can do all things in him who strengthens me.
- Jesus said to him, “Go on your way! Your faith has made you well.” Immediately, he received his sight and followed him along the road.
- And the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I wish to make another creature who will be like him.”
- Every word of God has proved to be true;
he is a shield to those who trust in him. - But whoever drinks the water that I will give him
will never be thirsty.
The water that I will give him
will become a spring of water within him
welling up to eternal life. - Therefore, observe the commandments of the Lord, your God. Walk in his ways and fear him.
- And if we know that he hears us
in regard to whatever we ask him,
we may be sure
that all we ask of him will be ours. - And when he had been made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.
- But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
on those who trust in his kindness. - No, throughout all these things we are conquerors because of him who loved us.
- If your brother should sin, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. Even if he wrongs you seven times a day, and comes back to you seven times to say, ‘I am sorry,’ you must forgive him.
- Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, it will be enough for us.”
- Beloved,
if our hearts do not condemn us,
we can approach God with confidence
and receive from him whatever we ask,
because we obey his commandments
and do whatever is pleasing to him. - However, to those who did accept him
and who believed in his name
he granted the power to become children of God. - For it is in him that the entire fullness of deity dwells in bodily form, and you share this fullness in him who is the head of every ruler and power.
- As a father has compassion for his children,
so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him.
