- Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
- A generous person will prosper;
whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. - As iron sharpens iron,
so one person sharpens another. - Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.

is a person who lacks self-control. - How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.

By living according to your word. - But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die.

but the Lord weighs the heart.
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
