Chinese (traditional)- And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.
- He that covereth a transgression seeketh love;
but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. - I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
- And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
- I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
- But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
- And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:
for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. - God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
- An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour:
but through knowledge shall the just be delivered. - And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
- And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
- And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
- Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of thy name:
and deliver us, and purge away our sins,
for thy name's sake. - Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.
- If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
- For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts. - And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
- The Lord preserveth the strangers;
he relieveth the fatherless and widow:
but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down. - And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
- We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments.
- Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
- In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.Next verse!With image
