- As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
- God setteth the solitary in families:
he bringeth out those which are bound with chains:
but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. - For his anger endureth but a moment;
in his favour is life:
weeping may endure for a night,
but joy cometh in the morning. - And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
- For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
