- Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
- But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine.
- By the word of the Lord were the heavens made;
and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. - But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
- He that hideth hatred with lying lips,
and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool. - For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
- Blessings are upon the head of the just:
but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. - Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips;
I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. - I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. - But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.
- In my distress I called upon the Lord,
and cried unto my God:
he heard my voice out of his temple,
and my cry came before him, even into his ears. - For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
- If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
- And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
- And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
- Lying lips are abomination to the Lord:
but they that deal truly are his delight. - And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
- And in that day shall ye say,
Praise the Lord, call upon his name,
declare his doings among the people,
make mention that his name is exalted. - And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
- I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart;
I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. - The words of a talebearer are as wounds,
and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly. - And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
- Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
- Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
- But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous.Next verse!With image
