Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about Trust
- Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths. - Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
whose trust is the Lord.
He is like a tree planted by water,
that sends out its roots by the stream,
and does not fear when heat comes,
for its leaves remain green,
and is not anxious in the year of drought,
for it does not cease to bear fruit. - When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
- Commit your work to the Lord,
and your plans will be established. - When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you. - Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love,
for in you I trust.
Make me know the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. - And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.
- He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.” - For we walk by faith, not by sight.
- On God rests my salvation and my glory;
my mighty rock, my refuge is God. - But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
- He will not let your foot be moved;
he who keeps you will not slumber. - The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth. - Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
- So we can confidently say,
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear;
what can man do to me?” - The fear of man lays a snare,
but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe. - Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him, and he will act.
He will bring forth your righteousness as the light,
and your justice as the noonday. - Whoever gives thought to the word will discover good,
and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord. - And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
- Whom have I in heaven but you?
And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. - Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
- Wait for the Lord;
be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the Lord! - The Lord is good,
a stronghold in the day of trouble;
he knows those who take refuge in him. - Trust in the Lord, and do good;
dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. - So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
Oh, how abundant is your goodness,
which you have stored up for those who fear you
and worked for those who take refuge in you,
in the sight of the children of mankind!Remove far from me falsehood and lying;
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with the food that is needful for me.
