Chinese (traditional)What then? Are we to sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! For I, the Lord your God,
hold your right hand;
it is I who say to you, “Fear not,
I am the one who helps you.” Remove far from me falsehood and lying;
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with the food that is needful for me. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them. The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. As for you, O Lord, you will not restrain your mercy from me;
your steadfast love and your faithfulness will ever preserve me! What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. Before destruction a man's heart is haughty,
but humility comes before honor. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
and those who love it will eat its fruits. Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things. Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom,
and whatever you get, get insight. So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity
and passing over transgression
for the remnant of his inheritance?
He does not retain his anger forever,
because he delights in steadfast love. Blessed be the Lord,
who daily bears us up;
God is our salvation. Selah Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. But he said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” How can a young man keep his way pure?
By guarding it according to your word. But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness. His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence. What is desired in a man is steadfast love,
and a poor man is better than a liar. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. All day long he craves and craves,
but the righteous gives and does not hold back. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied. And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. Hatred stirs up strife,
but love covers all offenses. Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding,
but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly.Next verse!With image
