Chinese (traditional)Why do you see the speck in your neighbor's eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye? Commit your work to the Lord,
and your plans will be established. Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Jesus answered them, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be done.” Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not rely on your own insight.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths. I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him. And hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us. Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of your name;
deliver us, and forgive our sins,
for your name's sake. Do not judge, so that you may not be judged. Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.” A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches,
and favor is better than silver or gold. If we say that we have fellowship with him while we are walking in darkness, we lie and do not do what is true. When you search for me, you will find me; if you seek me with all your heart. O how abundant is your goodness
that you have laid up for those who fear you,
and accomplished for those who take refuge in you,
in the sight of everyone! Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap; for the measure you give will be the measure you get back. From that time Jesus began to proclaim, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. And whoever does not take up the cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Then Job arose, tore his robe, shaved his head, and fell on the ground and worshiped. He said, “Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there; the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
I set your ordinances before me. Who is wise and understanding among you? Show by your good life that your works are done with gentleness born of wisdom. Repent therefore, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out. The fear of others lays a snare,
but one who trusts in the Lord is secure. “All things are lawful,” but not all things are beneficial. “All things are lawful,” but not all things build up. For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, says the Lord God. Turn, then, and live. Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life,
but one who rejects a rebuke goes astray. If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit. I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud,
and your sins like mist;
return to me, for I have redeemed you. I will extol you, my God and King,
and bless your name forever and ever. Be angry but do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not make room for the devil. But if we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for you reap whatever you sow.
