Chinese (traditional)Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
Let your good spirit lead me
on a level path. For
“Those who desire life
and desire to see good days,
let them keep their tongues from evil
and their lips from speaking deceit;
let them turn away from evil and do good;
let them seek peace and pursue it.” Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Restore us, O Lord God of hosts;
let your face shine, that we may be saved. But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. For a child has been born for us,
a son given to us;
authority rests upon his shoulders;
and he is named
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace among those whom he favors! Joseph also went from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to the city of David called Bethlehem, because he was descended from the house and family of David. He went to be registered with Mary, to whom he was engaged and who was expecting a child. You are indeed my rock and my fortress;
for your name's sake lead me and guide me. Therefore you are great, O Lord God; for there is no one like you, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears. No one who denies the Son has the Father; everyone who confesses the Son has the Father also. It is a snare for one to say rashly, “It is holy,”
and begin to reflect only after making a vow. With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love. For to me, living is Christ and dying is gain. O taste and see that the Lord is good;
happy are those who take refuge in him. Above all, maintain constant love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have stripped off the old self with its practices and have clothed yourselves with the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of its creator. Remove far from me falsehood and lying;
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with the food that I need. And now why do you delay? Get up, be baptized, and have your sins washed away, calling on his name. But in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord. Always be ready to make your defense to anyone who demands from you an accounting for the hope that is in you. Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him, and he will act.
He will make your vindication shine like the light,
and the justice of your cause like the noonday. For so the Lord has commanded us, saying,
‘I have set you to be a light for the Gentiles,
so that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’ Indeed, the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing until it divides soul from spirit, joints from marrow; it is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth. Since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God; they are now justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, just as we abound in love for you. Fools show their anger at once,
but the prudent ignore an insult. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. Each of us must please our neighbor for the good purpose of building up the neighbor. He will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. As far as the east is from the west,
so far he removes our transgressions from us. All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.Next verse!With image
