Chinese (traditional)Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer everyone. When words are many, transgression is not lacking,
but the prudent are restrained in speech. Beloved, we are God's children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is. And all who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. The unfolding of your words gives light;
it imparts understanding to the simple. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to make this freewill offering? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you. Be mindful of your mercy, O Lord, and of your steadfast love,
for they have been from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
according to your steadfast love remember me,
for your goodness' sake, O Lord! But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have obtained the requests made of him. The rich rules over the poor,
and the borrower is the slave of the lender. Jesus answered, “Very truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit.” Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for you reap whatever you sow. I love the Lord, because he has heard
my voice and my supplications.
Because he inclined his ear to me,
therefore I will call on him as long as I live. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have died. For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God. The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has—not according to what one does not have. The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable,
but the mouth of the wicked what is perverse. Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us. This God—his way is perfect;
the promise of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all who take refuge in him. For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all, training us to renounce impiety and worldly passions, and in the present age to live lives that are self-controlled, upright, and godly. I can do all things through him who strengthens me. A gentle tongue is a tree of life,
but perverseness in it breaks the spirit. For in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith. As many of you as were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. If only they had such a mind as this, to fear me and to keep all my commandments always, so that it might go well with them and with their children forever! On God rests my deliverance and my honor;
my mighty rock, my refuge is in God. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid. As far as the east is from the west,
so far he removes our transgressions from us. And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.Next verse!With image
