Chinese (traditional)You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,
will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.” I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. For what the flesh desires is opposed to the Spirit, and what the Spirit desires is opposed to the flesh; for these are opposed to each other, to prevent you from doing what you want. Those who are attentive to a matter will prosper,
and happy are those who trust in the Lord. You did not choose me but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask him in my name. Put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. The Lord loves those who hate evil;
he guards the lives of his faithful;
he rescues them from the hand of the wicked. This Jesus is
‘the stone that was rejected by you, the builders;
it has become the cornerstone.’ For whatever is born of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith. For we are God's servants, working together; you are God's field, God's building. For in much wisdom is much vexation,
and those who increase knowledge increase sorrow. For God is not unjust; he will not overlook your work and the love that you showed for his sake in serving the saints, as you still do. For a day in your courts is better
than a thousand elsewhere.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than live in the tents of wickedness. So God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all the work that he had done in creation. For the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many. In all toil there is profit,
but mere talk leads only to poverty. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Even before a word is on my tongue,
O Lord, you know it completely. I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him. For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. He gives power to the faint,
and strengthens the powerless. For this is the message you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. But if the wicked turn away from all their sins that they have committed and keep all my statutes and do what is lawful and right, they shall surely live; they shall not die. By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
and all their host by the breath of his mouth. For ‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said,
‘For we too are his offspring.’ And those who are in the flesh cannot please God. For I know that my Redeemer lives,
and that at the last he will stand upon the earth. Who is it that conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father's only son, full of grace and truth. Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning,
for in you I put my trust.
Teach me the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name. Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.Next verse!With image
