Chinese (traditional)Great peace have they which love thy law:
and nothing shall offend them. And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. Let thine eyes look right on,
and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord. And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul;
but he that despiseth his ways shall die. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people:
and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine. For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths. Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted: But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away. But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies,
as much as in all riches. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. He that hath no rule over his own spirit
is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. The liberal soul shall be made fat:
and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil:
he shall preserve thy soul.
The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in
from this time forth, and even for evermore.Next verse!With image
