Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about Encouragement
- But they who wait for the Lord
shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint. - Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
- It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.
- When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you. - Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
- Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
- I lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
- I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my eye upon you. - Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who wait for the Lord! - And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
- Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
- I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.
- In all toil there is profit,
but mere talk tends only to poverty. - Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
- Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me. - For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison.
- Because you are precious in my eyes,
and honored, and I love you,
I give men in return for you,
peoples in exchange for your life. - What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus.
- Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us,
and establish the work of our hands upon us;
yes, establish the work of our hands! - Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten before God. Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.
- So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
- Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.
For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory! Selah He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”Next verse!With image
