- God is not a human being, that he should lie,
or a mortal, that he should change his mind.
Has he promised, and will he not do it?
Has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? - Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them? says the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth? says the Lord.
- These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
- Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another.
