- What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
- Even though you intended to do harm to me, God intended it for good, in order to preserve a numerous people, as he is doing today.

the guard keeps watch in vain. - We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.
- O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
- May God continue to bless us;
let all the ends of the earth revere him. - To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
- Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
- So I will display my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.

- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.
- For who is God except the Lord?
And who is a rock besides our God? - God is not a human being, that he should lie,
or a mortal, that he should change his mind.
Has he promised, and will he not do it?
Has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? - The young lions suffer want and hunger,
but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. - As a deer longs for flowing streams,
so my soul longs for you, O God. - No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
- Who has performed and done this,
calling the generations from the beginning?
I, the Lord, am first,
and will be with the last.
