- Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love.
- This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light and in him there is no darkness at all.
- And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
- And every tongue should confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father. - Truly the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him,
on those who hope in his steadfast love. - Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever you had formed the earth and the world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God. - Be still, and know that I am God!
I am exalted among the nations,
I am exalted in the earth. - The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
the righteous run into it and are safe.
