Chinese (traditional)- We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.
- And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”
- And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better.
- Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.
- For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.
- And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
- For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.
- But for us,
There is one God, the Father,
by whom all things were created,
and for whom we live.
And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ,
through whom all things were created,
and through whom we live. - No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you.
- For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says,
‘The stone that you builders rejected
has now become the cornerstone.’ - Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.
- When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
- But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!
- But even as he spoke, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy. Listen to him.”
- I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent.
- I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.
- And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and he is eternal life.
- But Jesus told them, “I will be with you only a little longer. Then I will return to the one who sent me.”
- But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.
- The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
- But don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you. For God the Father has given me the seal of his approval.
- So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.
- Timothy, my dear son, be strong through the grace that God gives you in Christ Jesus.
- You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and you are right, because that’s what I am.
For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.Only a fool despises a parent’s discipline;
whoever learns from correction is wise. For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.Next verse! With image
