- For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.

And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” - For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
- He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
- For I know that my Redeemer lives,
And He shall stand at last on the earth. - Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
- But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
- There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Are the feet of him who brings good news,

And we shall be saved! - He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be greatly moved. - As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby.
- When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”
- I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.
