Bible Verses about '"open the eyes of my heart"'
- When the cares of my heart are many,
your consolations cheer my soul. - My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever. - Your testimonies are my heritage forever,
for they are the joy of my heart. - For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are open to their prayer.
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be acceptable in your sight,
O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. - The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous
and his ears toward their cry. - My son, if your heart is wise,
my heart too will be glad. - The Lord opens the eyes of the blind.
The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down;
the Lord loves the righteous. - Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths.
- I delight to do your will, O my God;
your law is within my heart. - Incline my heart to your testimonies,
and not to selfish gain! - I have stored up your word in my heart,
that I might not sin against you. - So I will show my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
- The Lord is my strength and my shield;
in him my heart trusts, and I am helped;
my heart exults,
and with my song I give thanks to him. - Teach me your way, O Lord,
that I may walk in your truth;
unite my heart to fear your name. - The precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes. - Though an army encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear;
though war arise against me,
yet I will be confident. - Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.
- Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.
- Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
And see if there be any grievous way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting! - But I have trusted in your steadfast love;
my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
because he has dealt bountifully with me. - Every way of a man is right in his own eyes,
but the Lord weighs the heart. - Open your mouth for the mute,
for the rights of all who are destitute. - Open your mouth, judge righteously,
defend the rights of the poor and needy. - I have made a covenant with my eyes;
how then could I gaze at a virgin? - And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
- All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes,
but the Lord weighs the spirit. - For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world.
- And it shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the Lord, to do them, not to follow after your own heart and your own eyes, which you are inclined to whore after.
- Let your eyes look directly forward,
and your gaze be straight before you. - Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they shall see God. - I lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - As in water face reflects face,
so the heart of man reflects the man. - I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;
I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. - Keep your heart with all vigilance,
for from it flow the springs of life. - Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean;
remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes;
cease to do evil. - Delight yourself in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart. - Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life. - But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.
- The tongue of the righteous is choice silver;
the heart of the wicked is of little worth. - The heart of man plans his way,
but the Lord establishes his steps. - The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
- The wise of heart will receive commandments,
but a babbling fool will come to ruin. - With my whole heart I seek you;
let me not wander from your commandments! - So teach us to number our days
that we may get a heart of wisdom. - A joyful heart is good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. - Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who wait for the Lord! - Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil,
but those who plan peace have joy. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. - Wait for the Lord;
be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the Lord!
