Bible Verses about '"open the eyes of my heart"'
- The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry. - My flesh and my heart faileth:
but God is the strength of my heart,
and my portion for ever. - For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
- Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever:
for they are the rejoicing of my heart. - Let the words of my mouth,
and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight,
O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. - The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind:
the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down:
the Lord loveth the righteous. - And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
- My son, if thine heart be wise,
my heart shall rejoice, even mine. - I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart. - Incline my heart unto thy testimonies,
and not to covetousness. - The statutes of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart:
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes. - Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
- The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
- Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. - Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
- The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
and with my song will I praise him. - Though an host should encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear:
though war should rise against me,
in this will I be confident. - Search me, O God, and know my heart:
try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. - But I have trusted in thy mercy;
my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
I will sing unto the Lord,
because he hath dealt bountifully with me. - My son, attend to my words;
incline thine ear unto my sayings.
Let them not depart from thine eyes;
keep them in the midst of thine heart. - Every way of a man is right in his own eyes:
but the Lord pondereth the hearts. - Open thy mouth, judge righteously,
and plead the cause of the poor and needy. - All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes;
but the Lord weigheth the spirits. - Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all
such as are appointed to destruction. - For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
- I made a covenant with mine eyes;
why then should I think upon a maid? - I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills,
from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord,
which made heaven and earth. - And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring.
- Wash you, make you clean;
put away the evil of your doings
from before mine eyes;
cease to do evil. - Let thine eyes look right on,
and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. - A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
- As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man. - Blessed are the pure in heart:
for they shall see God. - Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life. - When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes?
- The tongue of the just is as choice silver:
the heart of the wicked is little worth. - Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. - Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop:
but a good word maketh it glad. - A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
- Hope deferred maketh the heart sick:
but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. - Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart,
all ye that hope in the Lord. - Be not wise in thine own eyes:
fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
It shall be health to thy navel,
and marrow to thy bones. - Before destruction the heart of man is haughty,
and before honour is humility. - And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
- Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
- Wait on the Lord: be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord. - With my whole heart have I sought thee:
O let me not wander from thy commandments. - A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones. - Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil:
but to the counsellors of peace is joy. - I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart;
I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.
