- Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.
- And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words.
- For we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.

to his servants the prophets. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;
fools despise wisdom and instruction. - Jesus then said, “I will be with you a little longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.”
- What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
- The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.
- If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
- If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.
- Say not, “Why were the former days better than these?”
For it is not from wisdom that you ask this. - Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. - Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
- Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’
- Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?
- Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.
- To those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.
- You are a hiding place for me;
you preserve me from trouble;
you surround me with shouts of deliverance. Selah - Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.
