| Therefore, do not allow anyone to pass judgment on you in regard to what you eat or drink, or about the observance of Festivals, New Moons, or Sabbaths. These are only a shadow of what is to come. | Do not assert that the past was better than the present, for such a statement is not a sign of wisdom. | Do not say, “Why is it that the former days were better than these?” For it is not from wisdom that you ask about this. |
| Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you? | The Lord does not delay in keeping his promise, as some think in terms of delay, but he is patient with you.
